Japan Dave

For a while now I’ve been in contact with David LaSpina of the JapanDave website. I guess I first became aware of Dave's work through an on-line friend of an on-line friend, or something like that. Back then the focus of his blog was a bit different to what it is now. What the blog has become is a site of amazing, Japan-themed photography.
Most of the daily images are in a style known as HDR, of which I am pretty much a massive noob. A visit to the site or to Google will quickly reveal HDR to refer to some seriously vivid images. I should point out that the above image isn’t an HDR image (at least I don't think so.) What it is, is an awesome photo of a Japanese castle & representative of the quality you can expect from David's work.
Look, this post is sounding like paid advertising, which it isn’t, so I'll just leave you with one more thing, a slideshow. (Oops, and a link to his book.)
